LOS ANGELES –Volkswagen of America, Inc. has announced that its Dieselution Tour will be at Universal Studios Hollywood Eco-Fair on Saturday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Part of NBC’s “Green is Universal,” the Eco-Fair will present the latest ideas, tips and technologies aimed at preserving the environment. Part of a company wide initiative, “Green is Universal” features a week of environmental awareness activities aimed at educating individuals about environmental responsibility.

LOS ANGELES –Volkswagen of America, Inc. has announced that its Dieselution Tour will be at Universal Studios Hollywood Eco-Fair on Saturday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Part of NBC’s “Green is Universal,” the Eco-Fair will present the latest ideas, tips and technologies aimed at preserving the environment. Part of a company wide initiative, “Green is Universal” features a week of environmental awareness activities aimed at educating individuals about environmental responsibility.

Volkswagen’s Dieselution Tour is an interactive exhibit highlighting current environmental issues and displaying advances in diesel engine technology, design and manufacturing. Since late September, Dieselution has embarked on a four month tour, to dispel outdated perceptions about diesel technology by providing information about Volkswagen’s new clean diesel options and environmental issues.

In addition to the Dieselution Tour exhibit, the Eco-Fair will feature a variety of environmentally friendly demonstrations and ideas. Volkswagen of America joins The American Lung Association, California State Parks, Environmental Media Association, Global Green USA, Heal the Bay, Keep California Beautiful, Los Angeles DWP, Los Angeles Conservation Corps, Santa Monica Bay Keeper, Southern California Edison, The Tree People and Windows on Our Waters, among others, as Eco-Fair participants.

Signifying Volkswagen’s environmental concern, Carbonfund.org has certified Volkswagen’s Dieselution Tour as Carbon Free. Volkswagen and Carbonfund.org recently announced a partnership to offset one year of carbon emission from each new Volkswagen sold in the U.S. from September 2007 through January 2, 2008.
