Personally I do not like the 1 series and the 2 series does not look great in those pictures, can't tell what it will be like until it is out though. I think that the M3 and the Z4 are probably the best BMW's out at the moment. If they are considering an M2 as well maybe a M1 could be on the way to, but what a mistake that would be!!! None the less BMW's beat most cars out there, so it should mix things up a little.

So full of artless jealousy is guilt,It spills itself in fearing to be spilt. chuck The better part of valor is discretion, in the which better part I have saved my life.

I'll probably get shot for even comparing, but to be completely honest the first picture looks very much like the Hyundai Elantra GT 5 dr hatchback. I only mention this because I actually own one :)

Regarding the car though, this would make a great affordable addition to the BMW series cars over here in the states. Makes me excited ;)

Actually a couple of German magazines just told everybody a week or so ago, that the coupe is going to be called 1 series as well.
Besides that, I really hope it will be looking like on those pictures and not quite like the 1 series hatchback.

Yes I would most certainly by one, I always thought they needed to market a car in the mid 20s. I really like the hard top not a huge fan of that convertable. The Cars hot though cannot wait to see one..

Looks pretty cool and I would certainly be interested in a an affordable, sporty BMW. The M2 would be going up against the likes of the WRX STi, Mitsu EVO, 350Z and the G35 coupe so it'd have a lot of competition though...

I must say that regarding the new Scion TC - in pics I always like the way it looks but, in person, the thing looks like a chubby little slug. Not very sporty at all. Ah well...

If it look anything like the last picture... I would purchase 'that one' straight off. Why does Europe have all the cool cars? It kills anything Acura, Lexus or any other automakers for the money.
