Well, here’s an interesting gimmick. To help all those poor motorists stuck in Friday night traffic and who don’t have a date for the weekend, Motodate has come up with an ingenious solution.
Well, here’s an interesting gimmick. To help all those poor motorists stuck in Friday night traffic and who don’t have a date for the weekend, Motodate has come up with an ingenious solution.
Motodate’s system is quite simple. After you sign up, you receive stickers with your Motodate number. People who see you in your car and are interested then log on the Motodate website where they read your profile which includes their e-mail address. States Motodate founder Tim Baulder, “Once you see the person next to you in traffic, you know whether or not there is a spark, and vice-versa. Many of us sitting in traffic have glanced over and said ‘Wow! I wonder what his or her story is. Are they single/married? Are they straight/gay? What are their interests?’”
The full release can be found here. Cost is $5 a month. Personally we found the idea intriguing but can see the peril of someone frantically dialing their cellphone’s web access to get the lowdown on that hunk/babe two cars away.
