There was one time I had to drive 8 hours to go to a tradeshow and my cd player finally just stopped working the night before. I was getting up early to start my drive. I tried to find something for the trip, but was unsuccessful. Well, I went for 8 hours without music. I can say I will never do that again!

I have a 4 ohm amp and a Kicker solo-baric duel voice coil sub that has two 2ohm voice coils. I can wire these in parallel or series to get either 4 ohms or 1 ohms. If I run the 4 ohm amp hooked up to the sub wired at 1 ohm will that produce better bass than wired at 4 ohms?
