DETROIT – When the all-new 2008 Chevrolet Malibu begins rolling into dealer showrooms on Nov. 1, Americans should already be aware that Chevy is back in the car business with a serious competitor in the mid-size segment, thanks to a massive advertising and promotional campaign that kicks off Oct. 17.
Visitors to Manhattan’s ECOFEST 2007 will witness the first of a fleet of fuel-cell Chevrolet SUVs that will soon be driving across metropolitan New York, fueled by hydrogen and emitting nothing more than water vapor.

General Motors has stated in no uncertain terms that the Chevrolet Volt is on track to become a bona fide production model. The automaker’s reaction is likely in response to the chorus of cynical pundits who thought the vehicle was nothing more than a publicity stunt by the General to say, “Hey, we care about the environment, too!”
